I understand that for non Muslim/Mushrik parents their Muslim children can not pray for their MAGHFIRAT. How about the Parents of Prophet (PBUH) ? Kindly inform

I suppose that one cannot pray for someone about whom one is convinced that he/she is a definite enemy of the Almighty’s religion. Such information can only be available with certainty for people about whom God Almighty has Himself informed us. About others, there are no such restrictions. For non-Muslims, one can at least pray, if one likes, that if they couldn’t genuinely understand that Islam was the message of God, may He accept their excuse!
My information is that the Prophet was stopped from going to his mother’s (or was it father’s) grave to pray for her (or him). That doesn’t necessarily mean that they wouldn’t be forgiven. What it only means that the Prophet, alaihissalaam, who was to be a model for everyone else, was not allowed to pray for someone whose success was not guaranteed. And Allah knows the best.
