Hajr e Aswad: Brought an Angel?

Question:
Is there any authentic evidence supporting the following, traditionally held reports: That the Hajr e Aswad is a heavenly stone that was brought by an angel to Hazrat Ibrahim; and that the four corners of the Ka'bah are towards the four points of the compass?
