Reading Quran in the right sequence

I wanted to know which Surah order should I keep when reading Salaah, if I read surah Al Falaq in the first rakat, do I have to read surah An Nas in the second? Can I read Ayatul Kursi in the first rakat and read a few verses of surah Yaseen in the second rakat? or do I have to read the next surah as it is in the Quran, am I allowed to skip surahs, for example I read a few verses of Surah Maryam in the first rakat, can I read surah Ikhlas in the second rakat? or do I have to read surah Ta-ha as it is the next surah in the Glorious Quran?

Answer

Skipping verses and surahs between two rakats while saying prayers is no problem so long as we don’t skip them in one rakat’s reading. Try to follow verses and surahs in the right sequence as they appear in the Quran. If Ayatul Kursi is done first and then surah Al Ikhlas in the next, it should be okay. if you sometimes change the sequence unknowingly, your prayer should still be okay. Don’t do it knowingly.
