Paying Interest versus Taking Interest

Question:
Why is it that paying interest is allowed, while taking interest isn't?

Response:
The Qur'an condemns taking interest and doesn't even talk about giving interest. Hadith also doesn't condemn giving of interest. There was one confusion which is resolved if you are convinced, as I am, that Mokilur Riba, who has been condemned in hadith is not the giver of riba but the one who helps in taking riba.
