Imam Abu Hanifa’s dream about a Divine dua

I have heard from some sources that Imam Abu Hanifa saw a dream where he conversed with Allah. He asked Allah what can Muslims do to save them from the the fire of Hell and the trials and tribulations of the Day of Judgement, and Allah advised him to recite the following dua :
Subhanal abidiyal abad subhanal wahidil ahad subhanal fardis samad subhana rafiyas sama-ee bighairi amad subhana basatul arda ala maiyee jamad sunhana man khalaqal khalqa fa-ah sahum adad subhana man kasamar rijka walam yansa ahad subhanallazi lam ittakhiz saahi-batan wala walad subhanallazi lam yalid walam yulad walam ya kullahu kuffuan ahad
Is this dua accurate and authentic and the narration that I have mentioned ?

Answer

I have really no idea of knowing if any such thing happened, and, honestly, I am not even interested in knowing it. I believe that the direct message of Allah Almighty called Islam, was revealed to prophet Muhammad, alaihissalaam, and it got completed and perfected before his demise. The Quran says: “Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favor upon you and approved Al-Islam as a Deen.” (al-Quran; 5:3)
Since I believe in the above verse to be truly declaring the completeness of Islam in all respects, I am in no need of, nor am I waiting for, any further messages of God Almighty to be revealed on any other mortals. I do still need, however, the knowledge and intelligence of scholars to help me out in knowing the correct interpretation of the message the Almighty has already revealed on the prophet, alaihissalaam. It is in this domain that I find Imam Abu Hanifa as one of the most outstanding servants of Islam. As for prayers, they are found in the best possible wordings in Quran and the books of ahadith that mention the different ways prophet Muhammad, alaihisslaam, prayed to the Almighty. Those prayers are so effective, profound, and complete for our needs that I find it difficult to understand why people are interested in other, irrelevant sources for this purpose.
