The Construction of Ka'bah in the Qur'an

Question:
Is there any evidence in the Qur'an that Allah showed Hazrat Ibrahim the exact site near the well of Zamzam, upon which he and Hazrat Ismael were required to build sanctuary?

Response:
The opinion seems divided! The following are the three passages of the Qur'an where the mention of the construction of Ka'bah can be found: 2:124-7, 22:26, 3:96.

The following is the translation of verse 22:26 of two translators:

"Remember! We identified the site of the Sacred House to Ibrahim (Abraham), saying, 'Worship none besides Me, sanctify My House for those worshippers who make Tawaf (walking counterclockwise around it as a part of the Hajj rituals), and stand in prayer, bow, and prostrate themselves'" (22:26)

"Behold! We gave the site to Abraham of the (Sacred) House (saying): 'Associate not any thing (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round or stand up or bow or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer)'" (22:26) Yusuf Ali

The following is the comment preceding the translations of verse 22:26:

"Allah identified the sight of Sacred House to Ibrahim, commanded him to build Ka'bah then call mankind to come for Hajj (Pilgrimage)".

Mawlana Amin Ahsen Islahi's translation of the verse: "Remember when We made the site of the House of Allah a centre for Ibrahim...". It seems that answer to your question is in the affirmative.
